The MPC has helped to bring camaraderie among all of the members of our community. It enables us to get together and play a variety sports as often as we please, as we have an activity occurring almost every night. We also hold special events, such as Eid carnivals and Madressah graduations, in the MPC, that help to foster community spirit.

Growing up, we would get together once a week to play a sport in a local community college gym that was rented out. Now, with the MPC at our disposal, we are able to get together multiple times per week to play a variety of sports. This is a great opportunity that many of our members, especially the youth, take full advantage of.

We are blessed to have such a nice and convenient facility for our families adjacent to the mosque and the Imambargah. The MPC provides us and our children with an outlet where we can play games, hold prayers and host a variety of events including the Karbala Project during the month of Muharram.

As a family raising 2 teenage boys, we are extremely grateful to have the MPC right next to our Masjid. As a family we spend almost every single day of the week at the MPC in one form another. As a chairman of Jaffery Sports, I enjoy setting up various activities for the community members, especially the youths. The benefits are immeasurable when we see close to a 100% participation of our youths in one sport or another

My Sons Mikayeel and Salmaan are using the gym for various activities since the MPC was built in 2003 and they were young boys at that time. Today the MPC is an integral part of their lives. This is a place to meet and socialize with their peers as well enjoy different sporting activities that take place throughout the year.
My daughter Sayyeda who is seven loves the gym and looks forward to meeting and playing with her friends upstairs in one of the rooms in the gym.
I am glad we have a gym here in MN and my daughter will have the same opportunities as my sons when she is ready to play sports in the gym.
Minnesota can be very cold in winter; Allah SWT has blessed us with the MPC that makes it easier for our kids as well as our sisters and brothers to enjoy sporting events in winter.

The MPC is an extremely important element for the Minnesota Community. Not only is it utilized by the Khoja community, it is open to one and all. My family drives from Wisconsin every Eid to take part in the Eid carnival, which would not be possible without the MPC. Moreover, it is pivotal to keeping the youth of the community together with sporting events, lock- ins and other educational activities.
