"The Madressah in Minnesota
had a very humble beginning.
Batul Najfi, a long time member
of the community, started
official Madressah classes in
1984 with eight students in
the basement of her house."

Registration:
At the beginning of every year, all parents must fill-out a registration form for all their children who are attending Madressah.

Attendance:
Regular and punctual attendance is expected from every student. It is necessary that students attend every Madressah day on time in order for the student to fully benefit from Madressah.

Leave of absence should be notified to the Madressah Administrator, and lesson plans for the time away from Madressah should be taken and completed before returning to Madressah classes.

40% or higher absenteeism will result in the student to remain in the same grade for more than one year until he/she masters the subject; thereafter, the pupil may proceed onto the next grade level.

Absenteeism will have a negative affect on the overall grade of a student. Cumulative points would be awarded for the days the students attends the Maddressah on punctual time.

Following is the schedule of points that will be awarded for the attendance.
