The youth committee exists under the auspices of Anjuman-e-Asghari Ja'afari Islamic Center and organizes activities primarily but not limited to benefit the youths in the community. It is aimed to network, bring together, and strengthen ties within the youths.

The youth committee believes in ‘for the youth – by the youth' and intends to work together with the youths of the community to receive feedback and ideas for activities. Its task however, does not end within the community. It also interacts with other youth organizations to share, adopt and pursue joint programs; and with members of other Anjuman-e-Asghari sub-committees to exploit synergies between them.

With the aim and aspiration of serving its community and accomplishing its purpose, the Youth Committees in the past have organized events such as Youth discussions, Q&A Sessions, Ramadhan Quizzes, Sister's Extravaganza, Annual Skiing and M&M Picnics to mention a few.
